I continue, I write my thoughts and feelings to learn from what my inner voice is teaching me, as I separate the chaff from the wheat in me.

These books were not written nor published to make money, even though it would be good to get back some of it. I share my experience with others to show how this path has helped me, how I have regained my life from the brokenness survived as a child.

It’s not an instant cure, nor a quick fix, as nothing of value and worth is truly acquired in an instant. I like the Italian version. “Una cosa che si impara ad apprezzare.” “Something that is taught to be appreciated."

My publisher wrote a book dedicated to his mother. Called: “Dai Boschi ai Grattacieli.” It depicts the journey of his family from the humble beginnings, to show the journey from scrub to skyscrapers for his family.

There is always a beginning and a middle part to the story of anyone’s life and most times this is what we fight and struggle to forget or overlook. The struggle to free the memories locked up in my subconscious, has been my journey to life after death.

These books have been the middle part to my life, I have had to acknowledge the beginning of my painful start in my aware state of mind, as I put into place a solid foundation to the middle part of my life, to then be able to live a peaceful and solid part in my old age.

We need to change our views and opinions on issues such as childhood sexual abuse. Survivors or victims of crime face a stigma in our society that is only attached to and carried by the recipient of a crime and not the offender of the crime, and from that injustice survivors have to hide.

The struggle for the lotus flower also shows our individual struggle for life, as the journey of our survival begins in the depth of our soul, struggling to come out of our ugly past.

The Lotus flower lives in muddy water struggling to surface and only a few make it up to the top of the water to become glorious lotuses. The rest fight and struggle entangled by weeds that choke, infested by insects eating away at them.

They, as we, struggle to survive while staying in the muddy depths of our ugly past instead of forcing ourselves to come up and out of the muddy waters to become authentic as people and beautiful as lotus.

We can’t change the past or fix what has taken place there, we can however learn from it in the here and now, in the present, for the good of the future to come.
